Cultured Milk Hero

Lactobacilli Shirota strain or popularly known as Yakult was an essential part of a kids-below-10 baon. I was brainwashed with the idea that Yakult has white worms. This was during those times that my folks would want me to be part of the Sustagen 23 Resistensya Club.

Susy and Geno are friends. Yakult guy is THE enemy.

Step-In Step No

Who says that sanitation is an alien concept to us?

Leaving your footwear on the neighbor's doormat shows respect to your host. But in a more practical sense, you're being considerate of your neighbor's efforts in maintaining a clean place. By nature we are a hospitable bunch but the cardinal rule in entering a Filipino house is to remove your sandals, step-ins, shoes, or what-have-you. Break that rule and you will not be welcome.

This has been ingrained in us for so long. It is much like the way we dip our fingers on a holywater basin without any holywater at all. It's like we're on autopilot.
